Meet Our Executive Director, Iva Prinsen
Welcome to Chelsea Place!
Iva brings over three decades of senior living expertise to Chelsea Place, having held various executive director and nursing home administrator roles. Her diverse experience spans communities of all sizes, and she even managed her own service specializing in interim senior living positions. Holding a bachelor’s degree in health care administration, Iva is deeply committed to understanding each resident and their families on a personal level. She values her team highly, recognizing them as vital to the well-being of the residents.
Iva's affinity for older adults dates back to her high school days in rural Iowa, where she earned her CNA certification. "I have a genuine passion for hearing seniors’ stories, forging connections, and exploring their rich experiences," she expressed. After marrying her high school sweetheart and building their family, Iva and her husband relocated to Colorado for career opportunities. Her career has taken her through Iowa, Colorado, Idaho, and Nebraska, all while raising their two sons, Travis, in Omaha, NE, with his significant other, Maddie and Jon, in Aurora, CO.
