My father had his journey at Grace Point and our family will never forget how we each felt valued, listened to, and understood. The name of the facility is just what it means, the residents are treated with respect, dignity, patience...Grace. It is often so difficult to find such an organized, clean, beautiful place on the outside, as well as finding the beauty and compassion within the hearts of the entire staff of a healthcare facility. I have multiple stories I would love to share of the staff being kind and going the extra mile for my dad and his visiting loved-ones; from the CNAs to the amazing compassionate housekeepers, to the nursing personel, to the top administrative team members, to the activity staff, to the friendly and helpful receptionists. True beauty both inside and out. Our family couldn't be more grateful that Grace Point Place in Oak Lawn exists. Thank you for all you provided for my dad, the respect you give to families, and for being the BEST in grasping the concept and reality of Memory Care. The staff here treat people as THEY would want to be treated (or would want their own loved-ones to be treated) and treat their bedrooms as they would want their bedrooms to be. Grace Point Place staff are very attentive to their residents and everyone is great at communicating the needs and activities of each resident. They prepare a wide menu of food which is very much enjoyed by their residents. Grace Point staff provide comfort and compassion beyond measure in memory care, activities of daily living, joyful social activities, and provide exceptional live entertainment for all to enjoy.
