Clear Creek Memory Care

As of early this year my wife became a resident at Clear Creek. I was familiar with the facility since one of our friends had also placed a family member there. After numerous visits and conversations with that persons family members I decided on Clear Creek. I live over an hour away, so when I visit I spend a good bit of time there, having meals and even staying overnight with my wife from time to time. Because of this I see the operation at all hours of the day and night, often at a distance. And since I know several people who have family as residents, there are a lot of "eyes" on the facility. I am in awe of the kindness, patience and compassion I see every day and night from the personal assistants, the nurses and the management. Their work requires a special person with special training. My wife (and everyone else) is treated with respect, love and compassion. She is safe, mostly content and engaged. As everyones situation is different I have made several requests that are probably a bit out of the norm. In every instance i have been told "Sure, we can make that work".

Clear Creek is a home away from home for our Mom. The agitation she was exhibiting at home non stop became much better at Clear Creek. She feels safe and not over stimulated in her pretty suite. My Dad who was her full time caregiver is learning to live life again. Many people say this and I concur, why did we wait so long? From the first time I walked through the front doors this started a personal relationship with the amazing Clear Creek staff! They are much appreciated and we think we made the right choice!
